My heart breaks for the Palestinians.

I can hardly bear to watch the war porn showing people and buildings being blown up, but this kind of personal account from the people living through the atrocities is just as important. Reporting like this is exactly why the Israelis target journalists throughout Palestine and it is part of the hypocrisy and shame of the Western countries that their corporate media refuse to show us what is really happening.

Hello forceOfHabit, I always appreciate your readership and comments. It's lonely and challenging, to say nothing of life-consuming, doing this work. That said, I'm extremely privileged to be doing it. Thank you.

It isn't easy work, but I'm so glad you do it. For me, it's frustrating how few of my friends and acquaintances are open to seeing the reality of the horror in Gaza. They're good people, but its so much easier for them just to get on with their daily lives.

Thank you for this update. The courage and resilience of the Palestinians is remarkable . What the US is actively enabling makes me ashamed to be a citizen. What Trump is up to know is insane and cruel and must not happen. The government is just so racist. I wish I had the opportunity to meet some of the Palestinians in the West Bank like you have.
